Motherwell (bahasa Gaelik Skotlandia: Tobar na Màthar), ialah sebuah kota besar di utara Skotlandia, dekat Glasgow. Kota ini adalah sebuah burgh antara tahun 1865 sampai 1920, lalu bergabung dengan Wishaw.
Motherwell dikenal sebagai produsen baja di Skotlandia, sehingga kota ini dijuluki "Steelopolis" (Kota Baja).
Kaki langit kota ini didominasi oleh menara air dan 3 menara pendingin milik pabrik baja Ravenscraig, yang ditutup pada tahun 1992.
